Latest Purchase: Sex and the City Season 1-5 Vcds off Yahoo Auctions. New entertainment at anytime of the day since Mediacorp SUCKS! BIG TIME! Are they trying to kill Channel U, because if they are, they have succeeded. Whatever complementary programming they are talking about is rubbish. They just have Channel U to show fucked-up shows so that people will watch Channel 8. Horrible!

Forgot to update about my new VCD player. Quek won it in a lucky draw so now i can watch VCDs on my 21 inch TV. Muahaha. I'm sorry, you can continue to be jealous on how well-equipped my room is.

Anyway, past few days was a blur. Getting work done, trying to wake up, then trying to catch a wink, struggling through classes and such.

Finally, my break came.

Wednesday. M.A.M.B.O.

Ha, i know lots of people would be like: mambo??? all the silly antics and stuff??

In my opinion, what's wrong? I'm going there to have fun and dance myself silly with my friends! it's easy music and really fun, i don't go to phuture and spend the rest of my night acting sexy and grinding someone's hips. It's just not as fun at phuture den at mambo if you have a big group of friends. Mambo includes everyone, even the non dancer can just listen to the songs and laugh along... ya know what i mean?? Even said so, all the songs i listen to are black music, so i actually love the songs at phuture but i don't dance as well to them den retro nonsense. Hahaha. OUTKAST!! my favourite!

Well... at zouk... I was looking for a familiar face belonging to Melv's and i got it! right at the entrance when he's smoking away like a chimney. Melv you looked so cute! HAhaa. He didn't know i was going even though i replied to his sms. Oh well... Shared a flaming lambo with him and boy i sucked. I can't drink fast enough lah, it's not easy drinking through a straw! Haha, after that i went ahead to dance with daimler, justin, teck seng and cherin. Songs was good towards the end, had fun with them!

Anyway, something freaky happened last night at zouk. Someone(Melv's number) smsed me:

Supposedly Melv (SM) Me (AC)

SM: Where are you?

AC: Zouk lah, duh.

SM: Where do you wanna go?

AC: I think i'll just stay here, my friends are here anyway, music's not too bad.

SM: Where do you stay?

AC: What??

SM: How old are you??

AC: Who hell are you? Where is mel?

SM: Where are you now? Your boyfriend is with me

AC: Who are you? Where is Mel? Where are you?

SM: Your boyfriend is with me

AC: You are holding on to my friend's phone and you better return it to him or i'll fucking kill you, fucker!!!

AC: Mel, if you are there and alright pls call me back.

SM: Your boyfriend is with me, come out to the entrance of zouk now.

Later, i am still worried and gave him a call. a man spoke to me and said my boyfriend is with him and asked me to go out to zouk. after i hung up, i called again, a woman picked up the call and said it was a wrong number. I went out of zouk to look for him anyway. so i called again, which this time i finally spoke to melv and discovered his phone never left him and he didn't call and only smsed me once. So we met up and after making sure he was alright, i went back to my friends, and after that i was on high alert the whole night. FREAKY!

Anyway Melv is going to NZ tonight and i can't go due to work. I am quite sad since i was quite set to go send him off. i'll miss him!

Even this little ghost laughs at me claiming to be a geek. This is actually a little thing where you can insert a lightstick at the tube portion and it will light up this ghost! actually it looks like a octopus right?

Heh heh... i love to read, aren't i just the perfect geek?? Notice mak's Life of Pi right at the side!

Some random thing I bought for Quek at a ulu shop at Chinatown whose owner turned out to be.... Thomas Ong! My primary school idol haha...He was nice and friendly and spoke to us too... Isn't this thing cute, it's like a globe stuffed with tiny heart-shaped cushions!

My Stint as a Director:

isn't going too well... have to write the script, make sure it's good, rehearse and prepare materials amongst so many things. Yes I am now part of a duo in directing a play in hall and i must say i might not be up to the job. really. Let's just hope it turns out well!

Hope Melv will simmer down... ahhaha he seems very pissed in his latest post. Anyway going to support Candy later for funkamania in NUS. Pray that i do not lose my way and get lost! I don't wanna be late because of that!

Anyway all my friends out there... Go for my hall production to support me and my hallmates ok! We are doing Beauty World this year, it will be held at NAFA theatre ( NAFA's new campus) on 18 and 19 Feb at 7.30pm. Tix price: Im not sure. Haha... I'll be acting and singing (horrible thing for me to do. i just suck at it, but i'm working on it), so see you there...

I am super broke... I hope some money will drop from the sky this weekend when nobody's looking. Just a little will do, maybe 50 Bucks? Haha.
Also everyone is like so well prepared for their FYP, they have already started, Wanjun and me still don't have a single hoot about it, wtf..

Also, there has been an incident of some random bitch from hall 8 that couldn't stand losing to us and hence decided to cook up some scandal and be all self-defensive and accuse us of some rubbish. For goodness... she made herself appear like a fool and damn, she's not even pretty.

2.Midnight Brunch

X'mas was a homely affair this year with lots of smiles, presents and carols. Haha... Before the actual day itself, we had a hall x'mas event in school which was rather fun in my opinion haha. There were game stations, food and drink stalls and BINGO, with prize money. Lucky draw too. Damn.... didn't win anything, haha. BINGO was like this blackhole that sucked everyone into it and got everyone's attention. Never have i seen Hall 3 so attentive to anything. Haha... thus it must be true that there is a gambler in everyone of us. We love that uncertainty and risk. ha. I played 'smash the cans' for an awfully long period of time (games are free) to get enough stickers to redeem something for quek and i came to realise my aiming leaves much to be desired. I guess my pool skills already proved that but, never mind. haha. and after a while i got bored and i asked skye to give me her stickers (she's the stall holder).


The X'mas event was a new thing to us. People singing carols in groups to win prizes. People actually bothered and it left a warm feeling in my heart. haha... I guess the JCRC members had a good time too. Except for kelvin, who expected himself to win the bingo prize. the lack of that one number left him complaining kelong for a while. Muahaha. You should have seen his face. "it's me, i'm winning, one more number...blah" you can see that that determination, or greed? ahha i don't know. but it was funny to watch.


The event didn't end on a high note, but it was fun so who cares. ha. After that was Tropi/Moonlight's gift exchange. It's during these times i miss the seniors. Zhiyang, Jessen, Wilson, Chong Hwee and their humour and the atmosphere. It was fun but not as fun as last year i think... I got a small bottle of liquor courtesy of Gerald and Cherin got my heart shaped cushion! Poor Justin got a lion stuffed toy with legs that look like udders. in exchange for a $10 note he wrapped up. hahaha.


X'mas day itself was spent with quek's family at his uncle's place which closely resembles a winter log cabin. There was loads of food presents and carol singing after dinner. Got a few souvenirs for Abu Dabi (i don't know how to spell). It's a real place even though it sounds fake (dot, remember what we said?). hahaha. From his dad working in U.A.E. Exotic.

now for the most important part of the entry:

Midnight Brunch

Can someone tell me who thought of that name? Anyway it really started at midnight with me bringing insignificant Chunky. But my Chunky suited the other foods didn't it? Haha... Anyway this event was to have us meet and cook together and chill. haha... It was at Candy's place and we had a lot of fun cooking. Melv prepared pizza, dot fondue, candy shepard's pie. Now it further exemplifies the insignificant food i brought. Damn. I better make sure the next midnight brunch i cook some kick ass food. ahahhaa. So all of us went to the kitchen and i basically helped everyone since my food only needs heating up.


Helped Melv with his pizza that uses hash browns as a base (mind you, it was really good!) I will do it again next time! hehe, i only help sliced the button mushrooms and add cheese and basically insignificant stuff haha. After that i helped to stir some cocoa pieces for the fondue, and stif fry some onions (yum!!) for the sheperd's pie.


Food was good, so was company. I love all the stuff they prepared, sweeet! Fondue was a fruit extravaganza, sherpard's pie and pizza was neat. respect man. Chunky was as usual insignificant. haha.(Bloody Melv.. say pie is Candy's, fondue is dot's, pizza is his and my soup is......... Chunky's. ?!?!?! ) Didn't see Dot and Candy for quite a while. since we didn't meet due to SOME RANDOM UNFORTUNATE EVENT. ahahah. And Melv!!! since JC! but we still have loads to talk about as usual. i miss all of them loads... Watch TV and talked till late. Poor candy slept in a armchair cos we took her mattresses. Woke up early to a rainy morning. Melv and me had breakfast at a kopitiam which seems to be in a lost era with white bee hoon and according to him, everyone knows everyone. Hahaha... It's been a long time man....

X'mas is coming and all i want for x'mas is...

MORE MONEY.

then i will have enough money to buy presents for everyone i know! I promise when i start working i will do some serious x'mas shopping. Heh. But for this year, i wonder if it will be a wonderful x'mas for me since i am down on cash and also ideas of what to get. esp for quek, mum, sze yen and shiro. Second thing is all the work i have to do by x'mas. i guess by then i wouldn't feel anything about x'mas since i'll be dead tired. But x'mas is so special i guess i won't feel like that huh.

Wish list for x'mas!

1. More tops! I want an off-shoulder white top pls! no see-through material ok!(refering to the one i saw at esprit)

2. More mini skirts!

3. A nice sling bag for me to bring to school

4. A new handphone. any nice looking ones with camera is pretty much ok with me.

5. A new necklace... quek will freaking know why

6. Any other things that i don't have.

Hall Olympiads

It has been fun supporting games and cheering our players. If only more people do the same thing. Whenever me and my comm members go support, we really cheer our hearts out for the players. whereas a lot (not all) of people just look on and hope that through their staring seismic waves will help our players. I have total respect for supporters. I mean, at least they bother to come down right? But i just thought that our residents can offer more than jsut sitting down and not cheering on. and by cheering i do not mean cheesy cheers for goodness.

We have been a old and established hall and have always impressed people for our hall supporters. But it doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The worse thing is when me and my comm people cheer (which i think we should do no matter what) They give us a look sometimes it's as if i should be ashamed of myself for cheering so loud. Maybe i am over-sensitive. I don't know but that is really what i feel. They are just reluctant to support and that itself will prompt the downhill run of hall, since it's during HO that people feel the most hall spirit.

Oh well... Just some useless rants but i hope things will improve!
